A Fresh Approach is Needed for a Long Term Solution

ABL tackles obesity from a number of different angles. We target what causes and sustains your weight gain because we know as well you that ‘quick fixes’ don’t work. You will be treated as a ‘whole person’ not just a ‘weight problem’. Our programme is structured and intense enough to achieve your goals whilst at the same time being tailored to fit your own personal needs.

Our team of experts will inform, guide and support you through the processes needed for permanent weight loss. Our dietary advice is based on normal healthy eating rather than starvation or total meal replacement and has been proven over and over to simply work. So you can continue to lead a normal life throughout the course and beyond, and no more yo-yo dieting. We will help you look at thought processes so that you are mentally stronger and ready to deal with your challenges. Physical activity, led by experts in this field, will be fun and more than just going to a gym.

Initial Assessment

You will have a 2 hour one-to-one assessment with the following expert team:

  • 1 hour with your personal weight loss coach / dietician
  • 1 hour with a psychologist

You will be given your own personal record of measurements and information to carry.

You will then become part of a group of up to 20 and this will be the small community that accompanies you on your journey through the programme and beyond. We find that through sharing successes and challenges, strong bonds are made, friendships are formed, and that your support network continues long past your contact with us.

Our 6 Month Weight Management Programme

This is unique. It aims to bring about life change, rather than simply focusing on losing weight. It is a structured combination of dietary advice and change, exploration of thought processes and physical exercise. It is split into two 12-week plans, The Challenge and Wellness Club.
